B.K. Bhavana of Yuvaraja’s College, Mysuru, bagged a sprint double by clinching the 200m gold (she had won 100m gold on the first day) in the women’s section while M.R. Dhanusha won her second gold (had won 100m hurdles gold on day one), by clinching the heptathlon gold, on the second day of the three-day 91st Annual University of Mysore’s Inter-Collegiate Athletic meet 2019-20 held at the University Oval Athletic Grounds here on Wednesday.
Bhavana won the 200m gold with a timing of 25.98s in the women’s section while Dhanusha of Basudeva Somani FGC, Mysuru, who had represented Indian Universities in the World Universities Athletic Meet in 2019, won the Heptathlon gold with 3715 points.
