Mysuru: RAAGA Music Academy is set to enchant music lovers once again with a grand Karnatak vocal concert featuring Vidu. Dhanya Dinesh Rudrapatnam to herald the arrival of Sri Vishwavasu Samvatsara, on Mar. 29  at Bidaram Krishnappanavara Prasanna Seetharama Mandira, Narayana Shastry Road at 6 pm.

Vidu. Dhanya Dinesh is a talented Karnatak vocalist who began her training at an early age and has been under the tutelage renowned gurus — Vidwan Neyveli R. Santhanagopalan and Vidwan Delhi P. Sunderrajan.

Being a B-high grade artiste of All India Radio, she has performed at prestigious venues such as Madras Music Academy, Narada Gana Sabha, Bangalore Gayana Samaja and Poornathrayeesa Sangeetha Sabha. She has also given online concerts for esteemed platforms like Mani Krishnaswamy Academy and Gayathri Fine Arts. Recognised for her rich, melodious voice, she has received accolades including the “Nadakishori” award from Nadabrahma Sangeetha Sabha, along with honours from Gayana Samaja, Bengaluru and JSS, Mysuru. She will be accompanied by Vidu. Pruthvi Bhaskar on violin, Vidwan Nandan Kashyap on mridanga and Vid. Srinidhi Koundinya on ghata.
