A Medal winners in South Zone Aquatic Championship

Mysuru: Subrahmanya Jeevamsh, Rutva and Krithik of Global Sports Association  (GSA), Mysuru, have excelled in the 35th South Zone National Aquatic Championship 2024 conducted by Andhra Pradesh Amateur Aquatic Association in Vijayawada from Dec. 27 to 29, 2024, by winning a total of 7 medals.

Jeevamsh won two gold medals (200m Butterfly and 4x100m Butterfly Relay) and a silver medal (1500m Freestyle), Rutva won three silver medals (50m Butterfly, 4x50m Freestyle Relay and 4×50 m Medley Relay) and Krithik won a bronze medal (100m Butterfly).

National Record

Jeevamsh from Mysuru and Agatsya from Bengaluru have won gold medals in 4x100m Butterfly Relay (1.04.01) and have broken the National Record of the South Zone.

Pavan Kumar, the Head Coach of GSA, Mysuru, was selected as the Coach of the Karnataka team in this South Zone National Aquatic Championship. Under his leadership, the Karnataka team has won the Overall Championship.
