A pond and a desert on Ring Road!

Sir,

A pond is created whenever the Ring Road between Hinkal Flyover and Seshadripuram Degree College gets a good rain and it is converted into a desert as soon as the water dries up (see photos).

The water stagnation is because of clogged drain or improper slope for the water to enter the drain. Once dried, it leaves a good amount of fine sand and dust.

Driving through this pond water may splash water on self (if it is a two-wheeler) and others. Whereas, driving on such a sandy road, there is a risk of skidding by two-wheelers.

The scene is repeated whenever it rains around that area. Concerned officials may look into the problem and find a permanent solution to avoid any inconvenience and mishap to road-users.
