Aananda Aarogya: Music concert and discourse on Sept.24

Mysuru:  Dixit Aarogya Dhaama, Mysuru, has organised a Karnatak classical music concert by Aditya Jonnalagadda, a specially-abled boy and  a discourse on “Specially Abled Children – Challenges and Responsibilities” by Prof. B. N. Raveesh, Head, Department of Psychiatry, MMC&RI on Sept.24 at 6 pm at its premises, #12, Main Road, C Block, 3rd Stage, Vijayanagar in city, as part of its  Aananda Aarogya special programme. Aditya will be accompanied by Ruthvik on violin and Vikram on mridanga.

Profile: Despite his limitations in communicating since childhood, Aditya, the 18-year-old Autistic boy, has developed a strong attraction towards Karnatak classical music, bhajans and melodious songs. Though many reputed schools and teachers refused to tutor him, he is now trained under Kaivalya Kumar in music and  Gayatri, a special teacher.

Aditya, who completed SSLC exam at NOIS (National Institute of Open Schooling), recently appeared for Certificate Examination in Karnatak Classical Music (vocal) at Sri Potti Sriramulu Telugu University, Hyderabad.

He is the son of J. Ravi Srinivas, a Chemical Engineer and J. Saradyamini, a professional music teacher. His twin sister Nitya is studying MBBS.
