Abdul Shacoor (60), a tailor, former Vice-President of DCC Minority Department and a resident of 1st Cross, 2nd Eidgah, passed away yesterday morning in city.
He leaves behind his wife, three brothers including ex-Vice-President of DCC Minority Department Abdul Gafoor Azad, four sisters including Tajunnisa, member of Mysuru City Congress Committee and a host of relatives and friends.
Namaz-e-Janaza was held yesterday evening after Isha Salath at Masjid-e-Eidgah on Mission Hospital Road, followed by the burial at the Muslim Burial Grounds, near Tipu Circle, according to family sources.
