Mysuru:  Association of Consulting Engineers (India), Mysore Centre and UltraTech Cement Ltd., have jointly organised  the annual ‘Awards Nite’ on Dec.18 at The Windflower Resorts at 6.30 pm.

Nominations were received from five districts of Mysuru, Mandya, Hassan, Coorg and Chamarajanagar for various categories.

These have been scrutinised and the best ones identified by Jury comprising of a Structural Consultant, a Concrete Technologist, an Expert on Materials, an Architect and a Builder.

Awards will be given away to the owners, architects, structural consultants and contractors of each of the winning structures on Dec.18.

These awards are given annually so as to encourage all connected with any project for innovative ideas, good practices in construction.

Mandya Ramesh, renowned film and theatre personality, will be the chief guest.

Er. S. Ratnavel, President of ACCE (I), will preside. Er. T. Vishnuvijay Mayya, Vice-President, South ACCE (I), Er. K.R. Garudadhwajan, Secretary, ACCE(I) and Er. C.H. Prakash, Treasurer, ACCE(I), will be guests of honour.
