Mysuru: Somanna (60), a resident of H.D. Kote, who was hit by a Maruti Ritz while crossing Hunsur Road on Saturday last (June 17), died at K.R. Hospital in the wee hours of yesterday.
The Police said that Somanna, who suffered head injuries, was admitted to Brindavan Hospital and later was shifted to K.R. Hospital. V.V. Puram Traffic Police have seized the car and have registered a case against Kumar Nayak, the car driver. Investigation is on. The body was handed over to Somanna’s relatives after post-mortem.
