Mysuru: A 65-year-old man who was severely injured in a road accident on Mysuru-Bannur Road near DFRL Gate on Monday and admitted to K.R. Hospital, succumbed to injuries at the hospital on Monday night. The deceased has been identified as Babjan, a resident of Gargeshwari in T. Narasipur taluk. Babjan was crossing the road near DFRL Gate at about 7.45 pm on Monday, when a speeding Maruti van (KA-13 M-540) rammed into him injuring Babjan seriously.
Though he was rushed to K.R. Hospital by the public, Babjan breathed his last at the hospital, according to the Police.
