Mysuru:  An unidentified woman, who had sustained serious injuries in a road accident on Wednesday morning and admitted to K.R. Hospital, passed away at the hospital later on the same day.

The unidentified woman was knocked down by a speeding lorry while she was crossing the road opposite to Gujarati Tiles near Vijayanagar Bus Depot on Wednesday morning.

Though she was rushed to K.R. Hospital by the public, the woman succumbed to injuries at the hospital.

A case has been registered at V.V. Puram Police Traffic Police Station in this regard.
