Accident victim succumbs to injuries

Mysore/Mysuru: A 36-year-old youth, who had sustained serious injuries in a road accident on Sept. 10 night and admitted to a private hospital here, has succumbed to injuries on Saturday morning.

The deceased youth is Kumaraswamy, son of Narayana and a resident of Hosakeri 2nd Cross in K.R. Mohalla.

Kumaraswamy was proceeding on his bike on Nanjangud Road at about 9.40 pm on Sept. 10 and when he took a right turn towards Gundu Rao Nagar, another bike, which came in the opposite direction rammed into the bike Kumaraswamy was riding resulting in him suffering serious injuries.

Kumaraswamy was admitted to a private hospital and had got himself discharged four days ago. As his health condition began to worsen, he was admitted to another private hospital on Sept. 25, but succumbed to injuries yesterday morning, according to the Police.

Post-mortem was conducted at MMC&RI mortuary yesterday and the body was handed over to his family members. K.R. Traffic Police, who have registered a case are investigating.

Deceased Kumaraswamy leaves behind his wife Pallavi and 9-year-old son Nuthan.
