ACP Sandesh Kumar and seven other Police Officers from Mysuru get CM’s Gold Medal

Mysore/Mysuru: Traffic ACP (Assistant Commissioner of Police) Sandesh Kumar and seven other Police Officers from the city and district are among the 122 Police personnel across the State who have bagged the Chief Minister’s Gold Medal for the year 2018-19, for distinguished service.

Apart from Sandesh Kumar, the other recipients from the city and district are CCB Inspector C. Kiran Kumar, Periyapatna Circle Police Inspector B.R. Pradeep, City Special Branch Inspector M. Shanmugham, KPA Head Constable Lingaraju, District Technical cell Head Constable S. Vasanth Kumar, City Armed Reserve (CAR) Police Constable V. Srinivas and Woman Police Constable Vidyarani.

ACP Sandesh Kumar had cracked 18 murder cases, including the double murder at Kushalnagar when he was the Dy.SP earlier and was instrumental in cracking many other cases.

CCB Inspector Kiran Kumar had cracked 28 cases of dacoity with the arrest of a criminal gang from Madhya Pradesh. He was also instrumental in collecting  a whopping penalty of Rs.1.5 crore when he was CESC Vigilance Inspector earlier.
