Mysore/Mysuru: Responding to sandalwood actor Darshan’s appeal to take care of animals and birds during summer by providing them food and water, fans of the actor placed food and water for animals at Krishnaraja Boulevard, opposite Law Courts in city recently.

Nature lover Bannur Mahendra Singh Kalappa inaugurated the programme by placing food grains in boxes. Speaking on the occasion, he said that actor Darshan had given a call in social media for his fans to provide food and water for birds and animals and responding to that we are providing food and water.

Mysuru City and District Brahmins Association President D.T. Prakash, briefed about giving broken rice grains, millets and other feeds to animals and birds.

Member of Brahmins Association  S.K. Mittal, Bar Association Vice-President Umesh, Convenor of Darshan Abhimani Balaga Bhyrathi Lingaraju, Jeevadhara Blood Bank Director Girish, Prakash, Priyadarshan, G. Raghavendra, Kadakola Jagadish and others participated in the programme.
