Mysore/Mysuru: Senior actor and theatre personality, Mandya Ramesh, has sustained serious injuries during the shooting of a television serial and has been admitted to Apollo Hospital in Bengaluru.

Ramesh was involved in a shooting of a serial at outskirts of Rajarajeshwarinagar in Bengaluru on Nov. 27, during which he slipped and fell resulting in severe injuries to his hands and legs and was immediately admitted to Apollo Hospital in Bengaluru.

Family sources said that the senior actor will be discharged in a day or two from the hospital.

It is learnt that Mandya Ramesh was shooting for the television serial ‘Aase,’ which is being telecast in Star Suvarna channel for which Ramesh Aravind is the producer.

It is learnt that the actor is likely to be discharged from the hospital later in the day today and the doctors have advised him to take rest for a month.
