The District Institute of Education and Training (DIET) has begun admissions for Diploma in Elementary Education Course (formerly TCH). PUC passed candidates with minimum 50 percent marks for General Category and 45 percent for SC/ST are eligible to apply. The admission fee for General category students is Rs. 3,015 and free admissions for SC and ST community students. Minority community and labour class candidates will be provided with Rs. 25,000 scholarship. After the course candidates will be provided opportunity to get a job at private schools.
