Admission for Ranga Rao Memorial School for Disabled

Mysuru: Ranga Rao Memorial School for Disabled, run by NR Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the NR Group, has invited applications from students for admission to 2017-2018 academic year.

The school, which operates under “Child-centric project” supported by Department of  Empowerment of Differently Abled and Senior Citizens, is a free residential school from 1st to 10th standard for visually impaired girls.

Established in 1988, Ranga Rao Memorial School for Disabled is a flagship initiative that was the first special purpose educational institution in Karnataka that served the needs of visually impaired girl students from economically weaker backgrounds.

The school provides free lodging and food along with education. The school follows the State syllabus learning through Braille system by highly qualified teachers. Along with learning through Braille, the school also offers other extensive opportunity in basic computer skills, music, dance, sports and life skills.
