The Department of Youth Empowerment and Sports (DYES) has invited applications from eligible fourth standard students for admission to fifth standard (2021-22) in the District Sports School run by the Department.
Boys and girls of fourth standard (2020-21) aged below 10 years and having keen interest in sports can report at 9.30 am on Feb. 18 for first round of selection (Athletics and Gymnastics) to take place at Chamundi Vihar Stadium in city. The first round of selection will be held in all other taluk headquarters of the district as well.
On Feb. 16, the selection will take place at Taluk Stadium in Periyapatna, at Vidyodaya First Grade College Grounds in T.Narasipur and at Government College Grounds in Saragur.
On Feb. 17, the selection will take place at Taluk Stadiums at Hunsur, Nanjangud and H.D. Kote.
On Feb.18, the selection will take place at Mysuru’s Chamundi Vihar Stadium and at Taluk Stadium, K.R. Nagar.
Successful students at taluk-level can take part in the district-level selection to take place at Chamundi Vihar Stadium in Mysuru at 9 am on Mar. 2.
