The following individuals and institutions have adopted the animals of Mysuru Zoo under “Adoption of Animals” scheme by paying the Adoption Fee: Deveppa Siddappa Masekar, Belagavi – Indian Cobra (Rs. 2,000); Shobha Yashawant, Belagavi – Indian Cobra (Rs. 2,000); Sarada Vilas College, Mysuru – Indian Flapshell Turtle (Rs.2,000); Divya Sreejith, Mysuru – Finch (Rs.1,000); Ancy Antony, Bengaluru – Black Buck (Rs.7,500); Vincy P. Thomes, Bengaluru – Black Buck (Rs.7,500); Sumanth Hathwar, Mysuru – Great Indian Hornbill (Rs.5,000).
