Advanced X-Ray Unit inaugurated at Railway Hospital

Mysore/Mysuru: An advanced X-Ray Unit was inaugurated at Railway Hospital, Mysuru, by Rahul Agarwal, Divisional Railway Manager (DRM), Mysore Division of South Western Railway (SWR), recently.

The X-Ray Unit is with generator and high frequency constant output of less radiation and 360 degree rotating floor. Its features include motorised floating table which enables six positions and is helpful for Infants to obese patients, trauma patients and patients incapable for physical movement.

The unit has the technical advantages of Automatic Exposure Control, Safety indication, Self-Diagnostic control panel, Manual & Magnetic locks for all the mechanical movements.

A. Devasahayam, Additional Divisional Railway Manager and B. Srinivasulu, Additional Divisional Railway Manager,  O.P. Shaw, Chief Workshop Manager, Mysuru, Dr. G.S. Ramachandra, Chief Medical Superintendent and all other officers and staff of the Railway Hospital attended the function.
