Afsar Ahmed (49), a businessman, son of late Noor Ahmed and a resident of Muneshwara Nagar, near Fathima Masjid in Udayagiri, passed away yesterday following brief illness.
He leaves behind his wife, one son, one daughter and a host of relatives and friends.
Namaz-e-Janaza was held at Masjid-e-Fathima, Muneshwara Nagar in Udayagiri this morning followed by the burial at the Muslim Burial Grounds near Tipu Circle.
