Agastya Credit Cooperative Society will be marking its silver jubilee celebrations with a sports meet at Oval Grounds, opposite Crawford Hall in city on Dec. 22 from 9 am. On this occasion, following sports contests will be held at the venue.

For children of members aged 8 to 12 years: Running race (100, 200, 400 mts), long jump and shot put. 13 to 16 years: Running race (100, 200, 400 mts), long jump and shot put. 17 to 25 years: Running race (100, 200, 400 mts), long jump and shot put.

20 to 40 years: Running race (100 mts), long jump, shot put and lemon and spoon/sack race (only for women). 40 to 60 years: Fast walking race (400 mts), musical chair and shot put.

For Board of Directors/Founders/Employees: Running race (100 mts), fast walking race (400 mts), shot put and musical chair.

Apart from this, there will be contests like rangoli, yoga, singing, fancy dress etc., for women and children on Dec. 25 at 9 am at its premises in Vijayanagar.
