Bengaluru: In a good news for teacher aspirants, the Government on Wednesday relaxed the age limit for recruitment of teachers and lecturers in Government and Private educational Institutions, by two years.
The Government’s decision comes after many Legislators, Dignitaries, Associations and Organisations had exerted pressure seeking relaxation in upper age limit as teacher appointments were put on hold due to COVID.
The Government, in its order, said that upper age limit is relaxed by two years, applicable only for a period one year from June 23, 2023, for appointment of 778 lecturers in different subjects in Government PU Colleges and lecturers, teachers in aided educational institutions.
