Two-day MyGreen expo in city from tomorrow

Mysore/Mysuru: The two-day MyGreen exhibition of environmental friendly construction materials has been organised by Builders Association of India (BAI), Mysore Centre and Mysore Builders Charitable Trust (MBCT) on June 10 and 11 at Nanjaraja Bahadur Choultry on Vinobha Road in city.

World Environment Month Celebration (WEMC)  Organising Committee Chairman A.S. Yoganarasimha told media persons at Patrakarthara Bhavana here yesterday that “Like every year, under the joint aegis of BAI and MBCT, the month-long celebration of Environment Day has begun. As a continued initiative, MyGreen exhibition has been organised to showcase environmental friendly materials used in construction of buildings and environmental friendly materials used in daily life.”

The exhibition is being organised under the main sponsorship of RKB Build Pro and co-sponsorship of Schevaran Laboratories Pvt. Ltd.

The exhibits include renewable wooden products, solar water heaters, solar lights, microgrid water purification method and products, processing of sewage water for reuse, information of energy sources, handicrafts, electric vehicles, fruits and vegetables, added Yoganarasimha.

“The exhibits including environmental friendly construction materials, renewable products,  technology, organic products and lifestyle products are also available for sale at the exhibition,” he said. There will be a demonstration on producing organic manure, and even the chemical free toilet cleaner will be available, added Yoganarasimha.

Inauguration

Chairman of BAI, Karnataka Chapter, Srinivas Reddy will be inaugurating the exhibition as a chief guest tomorrow (June 10) at 10 am. The exhibition will be open from 10 am to 8.30 pm and the entry is free for all.

BAI Mysore Centre Chairman Nagaraj V. Bairy, Hon. Secretary K.S. Balaji, Vice-president V. Srinath and  WEMC  Organising Committee Hon. Secretary V. Gurudatt were present at the press meet.
