Aged woman robbed of her gold chain

Mysore/Mysuru: An elderly woman was robbed of her gold chain weighing 50 grams allegedly by two scooter riders in Vidyaranyapuram Police Station limits on Friday night.

Satyavathi, aged 75 years and resident of Second Main, Vidyaranyapuram was walking towards her sister’s house on Fourth Main in the same locality, when she was relieved of her chain on Sarvajanika Hostel Main Road at about 7.30 pm.

ACP Ramesh, Vidyaranyapuram Police Inspector Mohit and former Corporator of Ward No.61 Suneel visited the spot. A case has been registered at Vidyaranyapuram Police Station.
