Mysore/Mysuru: The Annual General Body Meeting (AGM) for the year 2019-20 of Elder Citizens Council, an Association of exclusively senior citizens located at Jayalaxmipuram, was held recently with members attending the meeting by following COVID-19 guidelines.
After discussing various activities conducted by the Association including ENT check up by AIISH and audited accounts of the Council, following office-bearers and committee members were unanimously elected for the new team: Krishnappa Gowda (President), Suseela Marigowda (Vice-President), K.V. Ramanath (Secretary) and Krishna (Joint Secretary), Ramanna (Treasurer).
Committee Members: Dr. H.M. Nagaraj, Dr. Ramachandre Gowda, C.R. Thimme Gowda, S.V. Venkateshaiah, Nanje Gowda, C.S. Nagesh, Latha, V.N. Achar, Krishnamurthy Naidu, Byatarayappa and Javare Gowda; S.V. Gowdappa (Trust Chairman) and Dr. C.M. Muniramappa (Trust Secretary).
After the AGM, Founders’ Day was celebrated, which was inaugurated by MLA L. Nagendra, with Pro-VC of Adichunchanagiri University and former VC of Mangalore University Dr. K. Bhyrappa as the chief guest. President Krishnappa Gowda presided. Elders Citizens Council members Prabhu Prasad and Prabhamani were felicitated.
