Mysore/Mysuru: Agrawal Samaj, Mysuru, started ‘Agrawal Hands’ for the needy a few years ago and has been responding to their needs. In the present COVID crisis, they first responded to the need for firewood at graveyards for timely cremation and are now supplying the wood regularly.
Responding to the medicine requirement at different COVID Centres and District Hospitals, they decided to contribute the required medicine also.
The Samaj plans to help and provide at least 2,500 kits costing Rs. 8 lakh. Yesterday, they handed over 1,000 medicine kits to Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) and 500 kits to the District Hospital.
Samaj President Dr. S.K. Mittal along with R. Praveen Goel, Arun Bagaria, Sun Jaluka, Shobhit Kedia and Keshav Mittal presented the kits costing Rs. 5 lakh yesterday to MCC Commissioner Shilpa Nag and other officials.
