‘AI for Future Workforce’: 2-day AI Skill Development Programme at JSS STU

Mysore/Mysuru: JSS Science & Technology University (JSS STU), Mysuru, in association with Software Technology Parks of India (STPI), Bengaluru, Efficiency Augmentation Centre of Excellence (Industry 4.0) and Intel Technologies, has organised a two-day programme titled ‘AI for Future Workforce’ on May 25 and 26 at JSS STU in city.

The initiative aims to empower educators and students with future-ready Artificial Intelligence (AI) skills and promote  AI-driven innovation and workforce preparedness.

Dr. B. Suresh, Pro-Chancellor, JSS Academy of Higher Education and Research (JSS AHER) and Director, TED, JSS Mahavidyapeetha, Mysuru, will be the chief guest at the inaugural ceremony on May 25 at the IS Seminar Hall, Golden Jubilee Bhavan at 11.30 am.

Dr. A.N. Santosh Kumar, Vice-Chancellor, JSS STU, will preside. Dr. Sanjay Tyagi, Director, STPI, Bengaluru; Manas Das, Senior Director, India Business Operations, Intel India; Dr. S.A. Dhanaraj, Registrar, JSS STU and Dr. C. Nataraju, Principal (in-Charge) & Dean (E&T), SJCE, JSS STU, will be present.

The first day of the programme will feature a ‘Train-the-Trainer’ (AI for Educators) session focusing on Generative AI, responsible Al practices, AI-assisted pedagogy and research applications.

The second day includes a Student Workshop on ‘Generative Al and Agentic Al,’ offering hands-on exposure  to Al tools, Al agents and industry-relevant applications.
