AICC Gen. Secretary coming to city

Mysore/Mysuru: In a bid to organise Congress Party, a meeting of Congress leaders of Mysuru, Chamarajanagar, Mandya, Kodagu and Hassan districts has been convened at Silent Shores Resort in city on July 31.

The meeting will be inaugurated by All India Congress Committee (AICC) General Secretary Randeep Singh Surjewala at 9.30 am, said Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) Working President and former MP R. Dhruvanarayan.

Addressing a press meet at the Congress Office, near City Railway Station this morning, Dhruvanarayan said that Randeep Singh will be holding separate meetings with Congress leaders (Kodagu district-10.45 am; Hassan- 11.30 am; Mandya- 12.15 pm; Chamarajanagar- 1.30 pm; Mysuru Rural- 2.15 pm  and Mysuru City- 3 pm).

Randeep Singh Surjewala will arrive in city by train at 7.10 am on Saturday.

KPCC President D.K. Shivakumar, Leader of the Opposition and former CM Siddharamaiah, Leader of the Opposition in Legislative Council S.R. Patil, KPCC Working President Ramalinga Reddy, senior leaders Salim Ahmed, Satish Jarkihole, Eshwar Khandre and others will be taking part in the meeting. MLAs, former MLAs, MPs, former MPs, candidates who had contested in MP elections and Party Presidents of the five districts will take part.
