AITA 1 Lakh Men’s Tennis Tourney: Aryan Pathange, Deepak duo finish runner-up in men’s doubles

Mysuru lad Aryan Pathange teaming up with Tamil Nadu’s Deepak Senthil Kumar finished runner-up in the AITA 1 lakh men’s tennis tournament conducted by the Karnataka Tennis Players Parents Association at the Tennis Temple Courts in Bengaluru on Thursday.

In the men’s doubles final, top-seed pair of Bharath Kumar & Sheik Umair beat Aryan Pathange and Deepak Senthil Kumar 7-6 (2), 7-6 (3) and clinched the title.

In the semi-finals, Aryan & Deepak combined well to beat Sheik Iftikar & K. S. Dheeraj 7-5, 6-3. In the quarter-finals, Aryan and Deepak shocked the second seeded pair of Alok Aradhya & Nesar Jowver 6-2, 1-6, 10-2. In the first round, Aryan & Deepak beat A.Kiran & Siddarth Reddy 8-5 to progress further.
