Mysuru – City-based Akhanda Bharath Seva Sena (ABSS) has accused Chief Minister Siddharamaiah of appeasing minorities.
Addressing the press meet at Pathrakarthara Bhavan here this morning, ABSS founder President Chetan Manjunath, who is also a Convenor of ‘Jago Mysuru Vedike’, alleged that Chief Minister Siddharamaiah frequently took anti-Hindu stand in order to appease minorities.
Chetan alleged that the CM had ignored poor Hindu families while announcing ‘Shaadi Bhagya’ for poor minority community girls.
Also, the CM has announced an additional Rs. 25 crore for Haj Pilgrims, while there was no financial assistance to poor Ayyappa Swamy devotees who visit the Ayyappa Temple in Kerala in lakhs every year.
Asking the Congress Government to stop minority appeasement and to announce schemes, plans and initiatives that are fair to every community, Chetan Manjunath said the electorate will teach a fitting lesson to the Congress Party in the next general election in 2018.
Later, the ABSS members registered their protest by tearing down a poster of CM Siddharmaiah outside Pathrakarthara Bhavan premises.
