Mysore/Mysuru: Kadali Mahila Vedike in association with Akhila Bharata Sharana Sahitya Parishat will be celebrating Akka Mahadevi Jayanti and Kadali Mahila Vedike’s Silver Jubilee on May 26 at 4.30 pm at Navajyothi Auditorium of JSS College for Women in Saraswathipuram, said Vedike President Sharada Shivalingaswamy.

Addressing the media in city yesterday, she said Suttur Mutt Seer Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Swamiji will grace the occasion. Sanskrit University former Vice-Chancellor Dr. Padma Shekar will inaugurate the programme. Vedike State Convenor Susheela Somashekar will inaugurate the silver jubilee of Kadali Mahila Vedike. Akhila Bharata Sharana Sahitya Parishat President Dr. C. Somashekar will preside.

Educationist Dr. Gururaj Karajagi will deliver a special lecture on ‘Akkana Aadyatmika mathu Anubhaavada Darshana’ on the occasion.

Parishat’s Mysuru City Presi-dent M.G. Sadanandaiah, District President Helavarahundi Siddappa, Kadali Mahila Vedike Secretary Vagdevi, Executive Committee Members and others will be present at the press meet.
