Akkamahadevi and Basava Jayanti at Hosamutt on May 1 and 2

The city’s Hosamutt, in association with  Mysuru’s Jagatika Lingayat Mahasabha, Rashtriya Basava Dal, Basava Kendra, Sharana Mandali, Lingayat Gowda Mahasabha and State Sugarcane Growers Welfare Committee, will be celebrating Akkamahadevi and Basava Jayantis at Nataraj Sabha Bhavan in  Sri Hosamutt premises, Khille Mohalla, on May 1 and 2. As part of the Jayantis,  Lingayat girl children aged between 8 and 21 years will be blessed with Linga-deekshe.
