Akshata Ganesh: Loved by both teachers and students

March 25, 2025

Sir,

This refers to the International Women’s Day feature on Akshata Ganesh titled “From Classroom to Camera” in  Star of Mysore dated Mar. 18.

I want to proudly say that she was a student of St. Philomena’s College where I taught her Journalism and Mass Communication for three years as the Head of the Department.

She was the Tomboy of the college, very bold, strong, outgoing and bright. Loved equally by both teachers and students. She went on to become a good orator, communicator, anchor, programme host by developing good command over both English and Kannada languages.

Though I wish her to pursue her dreams of becoming an actor, she would be a fantastic  college professor.
