Alhaj Amjad Ahmed Khan (68), an iron scrap merchant and a resident of  # 1821, 3rd cross, Rajivnagar, passed away following a road accident near Mysore Airport on Nanjangud Road yesterday.

He leaves behind his wife, two sons, one daughter and a host of relatives and friends.

Namaz-e-Janaza was held today at Masjid-e-Azam on Ashoka Road after Asar prayers, followed by the burial at the Muslim Burial Grounds near Tipu Circle, according to family sources.
