All India General Council Meeting of Medical Reps in February next

Jatha as a prelude in city on Nov. 11 

Mysuru: The three-day All India General Council Meeting of Federation of Medical Representatives Associations of India organised by Karnataka State Medical and Sales Representatives Association will be held at MMC&RI Platinum Jubilee Hall in J.K. Grounds, Mysuru, from Feb. 14 to 16, 2020.

Addressing a press meet at Patrakarthara Bhavan here on Wednesday, Association Organising Secretary L.M. Peshwa said that over 500 representatives from across the country would participate. 

This is the first time Karnataka State Medical and Sales Representatives Association is hosting the meet in city.

Topics such as Problems faced by Public and Pharmacists and its solutions; Removal of tax on Medicines; Safety of medical representative’s life etc. would be discussed at the Meet.

As a prelude to the General Council Meeting, a jatha would be taken out from Nov. 11 to 15 from Mysuru and would travel to Hassan, Mangaluru, Udupi, Shivamogga, Mandya and other places. The jatha would be flagged off from Gandhi Square on Nov. 11 at 10.30 am, Peshwa said and added that City’s Senior Physician Dr. K. Javeed Nayeem has been nominated as the Chairman of the Reception Committee.
