All-Religion and Literary Meets to mark Lakshadeepotsava at Dharmasthala

Mysore/Mysuru: The 91st edition of Dharmasthala Lakshadeepotsava will be celebrated from Dec. 8 to 12 in the holy town of Srikshetra Dharmasthala.

An all-religion and literary conferences will be organised during this period as part of Lakshadeepotsava this year.

On the first day of Lakshadeepotsava on Friday (Dec. 8), Hosakatte Utsava and inauguration of exhibition will take place; on Dec. 9, Kere Katte Utsava; on Dec.10 Lalitodyana Utsava and Lalitakala Goshti will be held. On Dec.11, Kanchimaru  Katte Utsava and All-Religion Conference and on Dec. 12 Gowrimaru Katte Utsava and a Literary Conference has been organised.

On Dec.13, Samavasarana Puja of Sri Chandranatha Swamy will be held.

Many cultural programmes by renowned artistes, musical nite by sandalwood singer Gurukiran and troupe, Puneet Orchestra, Puttur, will also be a part of the Lakshadeepotsava festival.

Religious heads, scholars, theatre personalities and ISRO Chairman Dr. S. Somanath are among the prominent guests expected to participate in Dharmasthala Lakshadeepotsava events.
