Alleged cheating by creating fake documents: Cases registered against four Assistant Professors

Mysuru/Mysore: Following directions from the Third JMFC Court, K.R. Police have registered cases against four Assistant Professors for allegedly cheating a private company by creating fake documents pertaining to loan repayment.

Cases have been registered against 43-year-old Mallesh of Gundlupet Government College, 45-year-old Kumar of Mandya Government Women’s College, 40-year-old Vijay of K.R. Nagar Government College and 42-year-old Yoganarasimhachari of Mandya Government Boys’ College.

According to the complaint lodged by Nanjundaswamy, Managing Director of SMS Infotech and Housing Development Company at Agrahara in city at the Third JMFC Court, the accused had made an agreement with SMS Infotech and Housing Development Company pertaining to the construction of house. 

They then forged the signature of the company’s Managing Director on the company’s letterhead and created a fake Loan Clearance Certificate for Rs. 1.10 crore besides creating a fake letter stating that the loan amount has been deposited to the company.

Following the complaint, the Court has directed K.R. Police to conduct investigation and submit a report following which the K.R. Police have registered cases against the four persons.
