Alleged construction of house in agri. land: DG-IGP’s office seeks report on case against former CM

Mysuru:  The Office of the Director General and Inspector General of Police (DG-IGP), Bengaluru, has sought a report from Lakshmipuram Police Station on the case filed against former Chief Minister Siddharamaiah for allegedly constructing a house in an agricultural land.

The DG-IGP’s Office has reportedly sought an opinion about handing over the case to CBI.

It may be recalled that a case was filed at Lakshmipuram Police Station on July 23 by one Gangaraju alleging that former Chief Minister Siddharamaiah had constructed a house at a site (an agricultural land) in Hinkal by violating the norms of Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA).

As there was no progress in the case, complainant Gangaraju had written a letter to DG-IGP Neelamani N. Raju to handover the case to the CBI, following which the DG-IGP’s Office has sought a report.
