Alleged sexual harassment case at Railway Workshop:Additional CCTV cameras installed at workplace

Mysuru: Following a sexual harassment case registered against four employees of Central Railway Workshop by the Police, various steps including installation of additional CCTV cameras at the workplace have been taken up, said South Western Railway (SWR) Senior Legal Officer and Public Relation Officer (Second) S. Sridhar in a press release.

A proposal to transfer the accused employees to another unit is under review. Also, steps have been taken to install additional cameras to ensure a safe working environment, the press note said and added that a senior woman officer has conducted counselling with the complainant besides conducting a thorough enquiry.
