Mysore/Mysuru: ‘Omkara,’ the inaugural function of Association of Alliance Clubs International, Mysuru and Mandya District Chapters, took place at a private hotel in city recently.
City Police Commissioner Ramesh Banoth and Alliance International Service Organisation former President and Founder Ally Tirupati Raju inaugurated the chapters by lighting the lamp.
The Alliance International Service Organisation, with its headquarters in India and centres in more than 32 countries, has been serving the Indian community for over fifteen years. More than 600 people took part in the launch of Swadeshi International Service Organisation in Mysuru and Mandya. Ally Tirupati Raju handed over the banner to the District Governors of Mysuru and Mandya and installed the new Cabinets.
Speaking on the occasion, Ally Tirupati Raju highlighted the international presence of Alliance, with over 50,000 members and 1,800 branches, emphasising its rapid expansion in every district of the country. “The organisation’s key strengths include low service charges and a focus on continuous leadership development,” he added and commended International Director Nagaraj Bairy and former International Director G.P. Diwakar for establishing Alliance Chapters in Mysuru and Mandya.
“Organisation’s primary goal is to assist public by identifying and addressing crucial needs such as alleviating hunger, supporting special needs and providing health check-ups,” he stressed.
On the occasion, Ally Nanjundaswamy, took charge as the Governor of Mysore district 255 and Ally K.T. Hanumanthu took charge as the Governor of Mandya district 268 along with their Cabinet. Additionally, Ally Balakrishna Raju and Ally Madegowda were sworn in as the first District Vice-Governors and Ally Venkatesh and K.R. Sashidhar Echagere assumed office as the second Vice-Governors.
Ally Santhosh Kumar, Ally Gangadharappa, Ally Rabindranath, Ally Ramesh, Ally Chandrasekhara, Ally Appaji, Host Committee Chairman Mahabaleshwar Bairy, Secretary Srishaila, Vice-President Krishnoji Rao, Co-Chairman Shobha Siri Balu and Treasurer Sampathkumar Shetty were present.
