Mysuru: Miscreants have stolen aluminuim centring sheets from an under-construction building being built by Karnataka Slum Development Board (KSDB) on Srinagar-Dadadahalli Road in the taluk.
The Karnataka Slum Development Board is building 1,344 houses on Srinagar-Dadadahalli Road in the taluk for which Gowri Infra Engineers company has been given the construction contract.
According to the complaint given by the company’s Manager Akash to Mysuru South Police, the company began the construction process in September 2022 and aluminium sheets were stacked behind the company’s temporary office at the construction site.
He has further stated that even two security personnel were deployed and CCTVs were also installed at the site.
But on Mar. 30, workers called him over the phone and informed about the missing aluminium centring sheets following which he arrived at the spot and conducted an inspection during which he found that the solar powered CCTV cameras were disconnected before stealing the aluminium materials.
Mysuru South Police, who have registered a case in this regard, are investigating.
