Ambarish takes pot-shot at CM Siddharamaiah

Mysuru: Taking a pot-shot at Chief Minister Siddharamaiah, former Minister Ambarish said that he had not delivered dialogues as much as Chief Minister’s speech yesterday, in his (Ambarish) entire film career spanning over 230 films.

Ambarish, who began his speech after being asked to by Chief Minister Siddharamaiah after he (CM) concluded his long address at the ‘Sarakari Soulabhya Vitarana Sambhrama’ mega event at Maharaja’s College Grounds here yesterday, said that the Congress Government had completed four years of good governance in the State.

The CM has explained all the welfare schemes launched by the Government in these four years, he said. But Ambarish, who was apparently disappointed as the CM forgot to mention the achievements of the Housing Department, when he (Ambarish) was the Housing Minister for 3 years, took a jibe at the Chief Minister in a lighter vein stating that the CM in his long address, had forgot to mention that the Housing Department had bagged 3 gold medals for good performance.

Continuing his speech, Ambarish praised the Chief Minister for all the development works and welfare schemes he had launched in the four years.

Even as he was in the midst of his speech, Ambarish who noticed some people surrounding the Chief Minister, asked them to first listen to him.

Ambarish at the end of his speech, reminded the Chief Minister of the promise he had made in front of Beereshwara Temple at Mandya a couple of months ago.

Ambarish without mentioning the promise, asked the CM to fulfil the promise he had made then. But the audience was left wondering on the promise made by the CM, as said by Ambarish.
