Ameer-e-Shariath of Karnataka passes away

Bengaluru: Moulana Sagheer Ahmed Khan Rashadi (75), the head of the renowned Islamic seminary Darul Uloom Sabilurrashad in Bengaluru and the State Ameer-e-Shariat, passed away this morning at his residence in city.

A native of Kavalande in Nanjangud taluk, Mysuru, he is survived by his wife, 5 sons, 2 daughters and a host of relatives and friends.

Namaz-e-Janaza will be offered tomorrow (Jan. 13) at 10 am at the Masjid in Darul Uloom Sabeelur Rishad, Bengaluru, followed by the burial at Darul Uloom Sabeelur Rishad.
