Mysore/Mysuru: The Mysore Athletics Club will be conducting ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav Run-2022‘ for High School, PU and Degree College Boys and Girls on Aug. 14 at 7 am at University of Mysore (UoM) Oval Grounds.

 It will be a 5-km race for boys and 3-km race for girls. While the first three winners in each category will get medals, cash prize and merit certificates, those winning fourth to sixth place will get medals and merit certificates. The cash prize will be Rs. 1,000 (first), Rs. 750 (second) and Rs. 500 (third). All participants will get certificates. There will be no entry fee. Interested students may register at the UoM Lions Hall at Oval Grounds between 4 pm and 7 pm on Aug.  13. Students must bring permission letter from their respective Schools and Colleges, along with their identity cards during registration.
