Amrita ranked 8th in NIRF

Mysuru: Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham headquartered at Coimbatore, with one of its campuses in Bogadi, Mysuru, has emerged as the 8th best University, for the second consecutive year, in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) – 2019 in the ‘University category.’  

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, with over 20,000 students and 1800+ faculty members  (including about 200 international faculty), is a multi-campus, multi-disciplinary research University that is reaccredited with ‘A’ grade by NAAC in 2014 and also ranked high by international ranking agencies such as THE (Times Higher Education), QS (Quacquarelli Simonds) etc. The University is currently spread across six campuses in three States of Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.  

NIRF assesses the Universities for ranking based on various parameters such as teaching-learning & resources, research & professional practice, graduation outcomes, outreach & inclusivity, and perception, according to a press release from C. Vidya Pai, Principal.

SJCE bags 120th rank in NIRF

Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering (SJCE) achieved 120th rank in National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2019 and 10th position in the State of Karnataka as announced by  the President of India. Over 4,800 institutions took part in NIRF ranking in 2018-19.
