Mysuru: Karavali Samskruthika Chavadi had organised Yakshagana ‘Chamundeshwaridevi Mahatme’ at its premises in Hootagalli recently enacted by artistes of Mahalingeshwara Yakshagana Mandali, Puttur. The Yakshagana excellently portrayed the vociferous entry of Mahishasura, divine presence of Chamundeshwari and the valour of Rakthabeejasura.
Inaugurating the event, Minister G.T. Devegowda hailed the unity of Karavali people and lauded the Chavadi for promoting rural games and traditional culture.
Chavadi Hon. President Dr. Dinesh Shetty, President K. Ashok Kumar Shetty and others were present.
