Anand Rao (82), a resident of S.I. Honnalagere in Maddur taluk of Mandya district, passed away on Tuesday.
He leaves behind his wife, two sons, a daughter and a host of relatives and friends.
Last rites were performed at his native village on Tuesday, according to family sources.
