The following individuals and institutions have adopted the animals of Mysuru Zoo under ‘Adoption of Animals’ scheme by paying the Adoption Fee: Shalini, Mysuru – Indian Cobra (Rs. 2,000); B.S. Srinivas, Mysuru – Mandarin Duck (Rs. 2,000); Kamala, Dr. M. Shankar, Mysuru – Great Indian Hornbill (Rs. 5,000); Nikhil (Nagesh), Mysuru – Four horned Antelope (Rs. 5,000); S. Jeevan Kumar, Mysuru – King Cobra (Rs. 3,500); Dhanamma S. Hiremath, Bengaluru – King Cobra (Rs. 3,500); Dhuvan Karthik Prasanna, Mysuru – Common Peafowl (Rs. 3,500); Sanjana Krishnananda, Mysuru – King Cobra (Rs. 3,500); L. Jyothi, Mysuru – Great Indian Hornbill (Rs. 5,000); K.P. Prakruthi, Bengaluru – Goffin, Cockatoo (Rs. 5,000); Kanti RPS Memorial Trust – Common Langur (Rs. 10,000); Sheetal Patil, Maharashtra – Love Bird (Rs.1,000), according to a press release Zoo Executive Director.
