The following individuals have adopted the animals of Mysuru Zoo under its animal adoption scheme by paying the adoption fee: S. Sachidananda, son of late Shankaregowda, Induvalu, Mandya – Asiatic Elephant named Abhimanyu & Tiger named Thayamma (7.6.2021 to 6.6.2022) – Rs. 2,25,000; H.V. Harshavardhan, son of Venkatesh, Hassan – White Tiger (8.6.2021 to 7.6.2022) – Rs. 1,00,000, according to a press release from the Mysuru Zoo Executive Director.
