Mysore/Mysuru: Citizen Convent at Udayagiri celebrated its Annual Awards Day for the academic year 2025-26 at Kalamandira on Hunsur Road in city recently.

The event was graced by MLA Tanveer Sait, MLC Madhu Madegowda, JSS Pharmacy College Associate Professor Dr. Shilpa Palaksha and Secretary of Mysore District Chemists and Druggists Welfare Association Amanullah Khan.

Founder-Secretary and Principal of Citizen Convent Dr. Maha Jabeen presided. Chief Executive Officer of the institution Dr. Misba Kounain, Academic Coordinator Abdul Muheeb and others were present.

Addressing the gathering, the dignitaries highlighted the importance of academic excellence, values and holistic development in shaping responsible citizens.

The UKG graduation ceremony was also held as part of the programme, while cultural performances by students added colour to the celebration.
